... HI! My name is Angie Sliedrecht and my husband and I have been living in Soroti Uganda for the past 3 years. I found your blog and have a few questions regarding your adoption of your little boy. We began fostering our son, Moses, in June of 2007 (from Soroti) and attained legal guardianship in October of 2007. We are currently in MI for a few months (we are in the process of an embryo adoption!) and will be returning to Uganda in March. We then hope to go to the high court again to finalize the adoption in Uganda. You mention in your blog not finalizing in Uganda, but going to MI and finalizing there. Can you tell me a little more about this process. I thought we were doing things the "right" way, but we know in Uganda things change quickly! If you have any advice we would appreciate it! Thanks!
